ProGet High Availability ensures that no single point of failure will halt the development and operations that rely on your ProGet installation. This is accomplished by multiple clusters for web and indexing servers connect to a SAN and SQL cluster. For distributed or large teams, load balancing your ProGet installation is an essential step in ensuring that developers, operations, build servers, etc. will have consistent performance across geographic locations and during peak demand.

You will need to manually restart all services after changing this setting. You will need to manually restart the primary service after changing this setting. If you are not planning to use High Availability, you must stop and disable all other ProGet services except the primary service when enabling Load Balancing.
